The 80′s band Blondie are appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum as part of the ‘Forest Tour’ this June 21st, I’m going.

I saw her first around 30 years ago at the Hammersmith Odeon.

Can’t wait to re-live those memories and hear those great hits again.

Oak House No.1 is only 5 mins from the arboretum.

Charles and Camilla Turn on Tetbury Lights

Just arrived back from the crowds lining Tetbury High Street suitably satisfied seeing Charles and Camilla up close chatting to the locals.

It was freezng, thankfully we only had to walk a minute from our door to see the the Royal couple.

Almost every small shop that line the old streets have a Christmas tree lit up, hanging just above their doors,

Tetbury truly is a magical little place at this time of year.

The Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum

Many local people told me more than once to visit the 'Enchanted Christmas' at Westonbirt Arboretum and despite being only 5 minutes away I didn't think it my sort of thing.

I was wrong it's awesome.I spent a couple of hours ther a year ago and was blown away,its like stepping into Narnia,beams of coloured light pick out the trees and light up the walkways through the woods,all very atmospheric and Christmassy.
